Color Readings And What They Mean

by Marci Nielsen

Few people would argue that color has an effect on feelings. It is said that soft blue is soothing. No one really knows why, but most people would agree. Conversely, if you have ever been in a room with busy patterns of bold colors, you may have felt mildly agitated. Big companies actually put money on it. They pay artists and marketing people to use color in their ads and logos that should make consumers want their products. It seems there may be some basis for the idea that color readings of auras are worthwhile.

There are many commonly accepted views of what colors mean. The basis may be cultural or just something that has been repeated so frequently it becomes accepted as true. Pink seems to be romantic. It is fairly universal that white represents purity, and yellow is bright and happy. Random research on what colors mean seems to be of one mind.

Some people say that they are able to see the aura of other people. When you read your own aura, or if you have a professional read your aura, this is a color reading. Auras come in many colors from white to black and all the colors in between. If you would like to try and see your own aura, it is suggested that you place yourself in front of a mirror. It is important that the area behind you is a neutral light color.

The next thing to do is to basically focus on your outline. Pick a spot, not the entire body. For example, you may choose the outline of your head. Continue to focus and you should be able to discern a white or transparent outline around your body. Focus a little while longer and the color of your aura will appear. Pay very close attention, because as soon as you see your aura you begin to think. You lose your focus and the aura goes away.

If you observed a red aura it means you are enthusiastic and energetic. You are never reluctant to take chances, which may get you in trouble sometimes. Red aura people may have a quick temper, but they are generous. Supposedly a yellow aura means that you are analytical and intelligent. Yellow aura people tend to excel in their careers and have a low tolerance for people they consider fools.

The difference between a white and a black aura is not surprising. If your aura is white or if it is silver, you have psychic powers, you are intuitive and people are drawn to be in your presence. White aura people tend to be attractive with wonderful personalities. This sounds like the best aura, if you had to choose.

Whatever aura you have, you do not want it to be black. This is the briefest of explanations. Negativity, hatred and depression are indicated by a black aura. It may also indicate severe sickness, such as cancer.

As you take the time to think about auras it all begins to seem very reasonable. The one thing that makes you stop and question the ideology is that payment is too frequently requested. Granted that pastors and priests pass the hat at each service, but they do not do it so frequently and for so many dollars. Beliefs are often faith based and have little to do with provable facts. If these concepts help people cope with their lives, then more power to them.
