Give them some tasks to do when they have time for idleness. Keeping the loved ones busy during their free time allows them to have skills in doing something beneficial than going for the addictive stuff. When they help n some activities, they do not have time to think about what they use causing the addiction, and losing their dignity.

Stay close to them each time they need someone to talk to and address their issues. Most of the addicts that involve their self in drug usage are due to the desperation they have and lack of a person to give their problems to when necessary. If you listen to their problems, give them the solutions that suit the issues better than what they think can solve their issues.

Medication for the people having the addiction is provided in the health facilities in most places. Visit the hospitals and ask for help on how to treat a person with the addiction from the doctors at the facilities. They will give you the medicine that you can give the addicts to make them stop using the products that harm their bodies and gaining their normal conditions.

Organize summits for the addicts for the fight against drug usage. When you start up the programs, most of the young and old having the behavior can attend to them, and from what they hear from the advice from those who once used the substances, they can quit the behavior. You can organize the summits in schools and the society around you for sharing the advice and the experiences from those who had the once used the substances.

Teach them about the consequences that come from drug usage behaviors. Some of the effects caused by the consumption of the substances will scare them, making them stop doing the activity. If you take your time to teach the users on the consequences that follow after they have the consumption for a long time, they can quit from doing the activity.

Because everyone needs support from the people caring about their lives, show some tenderness and love to those that have the addiction to the substances that cause them to have misconducts. Take care of them no matter the time you spend in making them stop doing the things that you do not want them to do until they come back to their senses and stop the behaviors.
